The Pegasus Horses!

One misty morning a dark Pegasus horse stood

outside your window. You scream in shock,

but the horse just stood there... didn’t even flinch!

These horses were used back in the day, to get

to school, work, and even going for an adventurous ride!

Pegasus horses were also used in Ancient Greece.

Pegasus horses are kind of similar to unicorns,

but they don’t have horns, they have majestic wings.

Sometimes on an early morning before dawn,

the horses would fly up into the clouds right

before the sun bursts up, and would look at the view.

They saw a pink faded sky mixed with light steamy purple

and a bit of splattered orange scattered across the earth.

These horses were so delicate I could wish I had one of my own. :>

Did You Know That The World Record Horse Galloped 88km Per Hour ? 

WOW IMPRESSIVE RIGHT!? Today My Topic Is About Horses.

You May Know Horses, The Tall, Furry, Painted Ones? Anyways My Name Is Billie-Jade And This Is My Story About Horses.

What You Need To Have For Having A Horse In Your Care. ( And It May Include Something About My Horses:) ) SO ENJOY!

Firstly, Horses Are Independent, Fit And Sometimes A Bit Lazy! You Need To Be Prepared For Having A Horse, By Having Some Paddocks For Them And A Good Amount Of Grass. You Also Need To Keep An Eye On Their Weight Too! Maybe If They Are Too Skinny Or Too Fat, You Will Need To Keep A Good Eye On That! HEY THAT RHYMES!? By Having A Horse, You Need To Have Responsibility And Care. I myself had 4 Horses When I Lived Up North. And Taking Really Good Care Of Them, It’s Not Easy.

Secondly, There Are Four Types Of Paces Horses Do; Walk, Trott, Canter, And Gallop.

 My Horse Named Tilly Was A Standardbred,Which Means She Couldn’t Jump.  And She Was 14-15 Hands. She Used To Be In The Races With The Cart Where People Sit On And She Trotts REALLY FAST! She Used To Win A Couple Of Times And She Would Even Come Second, OR EVEN THIRD! 

But Eventually We Had To Sell Her Because We Moved Here. She Can’t Canter Either But She Would Try To Do It And It’s Really Funny Watching Her Do As So. Her Racing Name Was Trickie. My Other Horses Were

Milo, Summer, And Socks. Milo And Summer Were Minature Ponys

And One Hot Day We Came Home And BOOM! We Saw A Little Miniature Foal Just Been Born. We Decided

To Name Him Milo Because He Was A Chocolatey Color. Summer Was Very Cute!

 But We Also Had To Sell Both Of Those Miniatures. I Was Really Sad But I Knew That They Were Going To Go To A Happy Home. They Were Seperated, And Then Just Like That, It Was A Miracle They Ended Up Both Living Together. The Cheeky Thing About Milo Was That He Will Chew On Your Hair And Won't Let Go. Moving On To My Other Horse Named Socks. Socks Was 17  Hands,

She Was A Thorough Bred But She Couldn’t Jump. She Had Something Wrong With Her Back, So She Can’t Jump. She Was Diagnosed With Arthritis, So She Would Always Limp Every Day So We Would Put Some Cream On Her Legs. And Give Her Medicine If It’s Really Bad. We Gave Her Back To Her Owners Because They Offered Us To Buy Her, And She Was Not Worth 5,000 Dollars.

Thirdly, You Need To Make Sure You Train Your Horses. So They Can Keep Healthy, And Fit. Maybe Lunge Them (If You Don’t Know What Lunge Means, It Means You Will Need A Big Lead And Make Them Run Around In Circles) Take Them For A Good Ride. First You Will Need To Lead Your Horse And Tie Him\Her Up. Then You Will Need To Take Some Brushes And Start Brushing Down Your Horse. Then You Will Need To Pop The Saddle Blanket On And Then The Saddle. Oh And Then The Bridle, Then You Will Need To Make Sure That The Stirrups Are The Right Size For You. Then Away You Go You’re On Your Horse And Having An Amazing Ride! Gripping Your Fingers Onto The Bridle. You’re Bouncing Up And Down From Cantering, You Are Happy. You Feel Glad That You Have Done This. Then You See The Wooden Jump. Your Horse Charges For It And You Don’t Know What To Do You Are Frightened Because You Actually Don’t Know How To Jump On A Horse, You Think Back At What Your Mum Did And Remembered “Okay Okay, Sit Up Lean Forward And Grip” You Say, Butterflies Are Spinning Around Your Stomach. Making You Feel Sick. And Then…. YOU DID IT!!! “WHAT OH MY GOSH I DID IT!!!” You Shout. You Feel So Surprised And Headed To The Tacking Area. So What I Am Trying To Say Is That I Believe Anything You Can Do, Is Successful.

In conclusion, Lastly, I Hope That I Have Told You Some Good Interesting Facts About Horses, And I Even Included My Horses In It Too! So I Believe That Anything You Can Do Is Completely Successful And Give It A Go! Thanks So Much, My Name Is Billie-Jade And This Was My Story Of Horses.
